Sondra (Truman) Horn
attended
Rio
for 3 years and graduated with the Class of 1971. After Rio,
Sondra attended Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, MD.
After living in the East for many years, the family returned
to
California
in 1997. Currently, she is the Division Administrator
for the Pediatric Surgery Department at
Stanford
University
.
Sondra and her husband, Bob, live in
Elk Grove
,
CA
(near
Sacramento
) and have two children, Robyn and Ian.
When asked to help with the Alumni Association, Sondra was
more than willing to help. She has been very involved
with locating classmates from the Class of '71, and helping
with various reunions, so this was an easy project to
undertake. Sondra is an avid reader and is looking
forward to working with the faculty and Library staff to
bring the library more up-to-date. She is an avid
quilter and for "down time", Sondra can often be
found in her sewing room, working on a new quilt. The
family is also involved with Golden Retriever Rescue.
